Picture This is pleased to present the performance consensus rouge noir (Bristol) by Jimmy Robert, in advance of an exhibition of his new film.

For the performance Robert will read from a script whilst facing a projection of his film consensus rouge noir, a montage of found footage and images shot by the artist himself on Super-8, and transferred to 16mm.

The 20 minute performance will be followed by a discussion between the artist and the audience, during which there will be an open exchange of ideas about the work. This discussion will be recorded by a stenographer and the feedback gathered used to influence the writing of a new voiceover for the film.

The event is free but booking is essential as places are limited. Please phone or email to book a place.
