Slow Action Screening at the Southbank Centre
4th July 2011

Monday 4 July 2011, 7:00pm

The Southbank Centre presents a special one-off screening of Ben Rivers' Slow Action followed by a discussion with the film's narrator Mark von Schlegell, chaired by independent producer and curator Gareth Evans in conversation with Mark von Schlegell.

Filmed at four different sites across the globe, Lanzarote, Gunkanjima, Tuvalu and Somerset, the film explores ideas of how species and ecosystems evolve over time, imagining the Earth in a few hundred years' time with the sea level rising and the future societies which have been created.
