Way of the Goat
by Varsity of Maneuvers

Synopsis:
Way of the Goat explores the climbing skills of feral goats’ to re-visit an inherently human condition – the fear of heights.
The video portrays how these animals physically relate to space and to the landscapes they live in.
Shaolin Kong Fu/ Tai Chi and North American Indian culture constitute a conceptual periphery for this work. Their members excelled mentally and physically through hunting and studying animals.
"With this project we like to pay tribute to the skill and sensibilities of our significant climbing others - feral goats of Devon and Snowdonia and feral goats wherever they manage to survive."
